The Weight of Your Words 

“Deliver your words, not by number but by weight.”





As I see it . . . . . . . .

The weight of your worlds


People remember you by your worlds . . . . Pick your words carefully . . . . and deliver your words by weight . . . . not by numbers.


Speak with a purpose . . . . when you have nothing constructive to say. Listen to the other person . . . . to what they are saying . . . . and you will gain insight to the other person as to what they are saying . . . . why they’re saying it . . . .  and what they are thinking.


You hear some people talk . . . . and talk until your eyes cross. When their done talking their words are hollow . . . .  and with all they’re talking . . . . they had nothing worthwhile to say.


Let that never be you . . . .


The weight of your words . . . . will be how people know you . . . . let your words speak volumes for who you are as a person.

The quality of our words is definitely more important than the quantity. In fact, if we don't have anything worthwhile to say, we should be quiet.

Weighing of words is so careful, because there is no backspace or delete key. Once you say it, it is done. Nothing pulls it back.

      Yesterday I met with another Broker and a client.  The client talked, I said a few words, but the other Broker remained very, very quiet, taking it all in.  She finally made a short but meaningful statement about the business at hand.  A sharp lady!

I agree that words have weight so we should measure them carefully.

I like the thought that if you do not have a meaningful contribution to make, then focus on listening.
