Very well said, Lou Ludwig - reminded me of a similar quote from Jim Rohn....

Self-education will make your fortune...

Hi,  Lou Ludwig .  Love your post; I am a real believer in self-education. I have a strong belief that when we come to planet Earth, we come many times. And we are here to LEARN...lessons, yes; but also to educate ourselves in as many ways as possible. Formal education is a strong foundation; however, the key to our higher creative soul/being - while here on Earth - I believe, is continual self-education.  And, Lou, isn't it amazing all the learning tools we have...hahaha...Google/YouTube/Internet/Libraries/Apprenticeships/Internships.....

Lou, I think of the last actors' verbal exchange in the 1990 movie, GHOST. Patrick Swayze - as he is leaving earth, - turns around to Demi Moore and says: "...It's amazing, Molly.  The love inside you take it with you." My belief is we can easily say: "Amazing, isn't it. The learning, you take it with you."

Good morning Lou Ludwig ,

An inspiring post because I've always felt our formal education is our foundation - its the basics - but what we learn ourselves does open the doors and takes us to heights where there are no limits. I loved Jane Chaulklin-Schott comment..perfect!

Good morning Lou.  And, long after the formal education is over, the self education continues.  At least, for those willing to learn.

Good morning Lou. Long after your formal education is through you still need to be a person under construction. Enjoy your day!

Hi Lou - after your foundation education, letting your interests drive further study, either into new topics or deeper into old topics, can be both humbling and motivating as we realize how little we really know - which can create unreasonable limits if we don't take positive action to: learn, know more, repeat...!  John and Kat

The self education part is a fun part, one that I enjoy every day.  My Mom used to say  when you're through learning - you're on the other side learning.  It never ends!

I agree that the self-education opens the doors to greater opportunities in our lives and to the benefits that those opportunities bring with them. But formal education gives us the basis and ability to make a living. And it's important to learn these basics. This is the fundament for all your future actions. You can't stop at this stage, but go further and use your knowledge for scientific work. This blog https://buyessay.org/blog/how-to-overcome-main-difficulties-while-writing-a-phd-dissertation/ describes the difficulties and some tricks for writing a dissertation. Writing a PhD dissertation may at first seem a daunting task, but if properly allocate time, tasks, and use methods that help to focus on the essentials, it's a quite feasible.

This is true, when the person comprehensively develops his outlook expands. Students use https://buy-essays-now.com/ But this only expands their vision of the variability of learning, allows you to see a skilled work of professionals. And as for me it's better than not to try to do anything at all and accept the lack of time to study.

I`m also the student who studies remotely so I study all the stuff by myself.I surf different sites read different book to find the information I need. So this makes me rich. Self-education is very important not only for students. Even if you already have a job never stop learning. Working at resumewritingcenter.com I need to keep myself informed all the time. So get new skills through learning, be self-educated.
