Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Your Success Journey is a Series of Milestones

Your Success Journey is a Series of Milestones

Your Success Journey is a Series of Milestones

“I look at a victory as milestones on a very long highway.”

Joan Benoit Samuelson, Olympic Gold Medal Winner,

retired American Marathon Runner

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Your success journey is a series of milestones

See your victories as milestones on your success journey . . . . and not as an isolated event. It’s the combination of you victories . . . . that leads you to success.

Each victory moves your closer to your goals . . . . One victory will not create success . . . . it creates a milestone on your success journey. Many people savory their victory . . . . and believe that they have arrived at the pinnacle of success. At that moment in time they become very susceptible to failure because they translated a victory . . . . not as a mile stone . . . .  but as reaching the top of the mountain.

Your success journey is a long winding road . . . . and your victories have an accumulated value in your overall success.

Look at your setbacks and failures on your success journey . . . . as temporary conditions. Also as a learning experience. Learn from them and make the necessary adjustments to move forward better prepared for the future.

Success is achieved by those who are persistent and see things through a success conclusion. See your success journey as a series of milestones with each one of your victories contributing to your long term success.

Lou, it is fun to hit some new milestones, but to keep up with that is tough year after year!

“I look at a victory as milestones on a very long highway.” great quote by an amazing athlete!

Great post! I really enjoyed it. It is so true. I always look at success as a small victory, that helps build confidence to go out and try again

Good morning, Lou --- success comes via a journey that is likely to have some detours along the way.

It's just like my marathons that I've ran. Every mile got me that much closer to the finish line.
