Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Your Instinct

Your Instinct

Your Instinct

“When you are in the zone your intuition comes to the

forefront . . . Your intuition will guide you. It’s

your friend. It has information your mind

does not have. When you are a zone

performer – no matter what it is

you do – you are operating on

intuition and you have an

unfair advantage over

the competition.”

Jim Fannin, Author

As I see it . . . . . . .

Your instinct

When you’re in the zone your instincts take over.

Michael Jordan is a good example of being in the zone as a basketball player. When the game was on the line . . . . and making the last shot would win the game they gave the ball to Michael.

Not only did they give the ball to Michael.

Michael wanted the ball . . . . and he has the sixth sense to know exactly what to do . . . . and how to do at that moment in the game.

Through his years of playing basketball Michael was a hard worker. He was committed to develop . . . . and maintain his skills at a cutting edge level. Michael worked hard to play basketball with excellences.

Your instincts . . . . are developed through your commitment to excellence . . . . hard work . . . . and over time. When it comes down to one shot your instincts will be there for you do the right thing . . . . at the right time.

"Instinct" = boldness, confidence, posture, removing fear... all developed by doing it, over and over, and over when you did not want to or felt like it... great topic, Lou!!

My instincts yesterday told me "do not comment on the plight of the rude and obnoxious".  I was able to sleep just fine without the little comments dancing through my head.

Good morning, Lou -- with experience comes additional knowledge and insight ----  instincts become second nature --- practically automatic.

This is so true... I sometimes just sit and think about an issue. Soon my instinct kicks in and I am in the zone

Lou, If we had to make all decisions consciously, we wouldn't have time for much.

Good Morning Lou Ludwig

Listening to that inner voice is something that we need to train for to become successful at recognizing it.

Very true. Our instinct helps to structure an offer on behalf of a buyer, what's important to a seller, etc. It's instinct that helps us read between the lines.

Goodinstincts come with time, hard work and knowledge. So many times, I have used my instincts without even being aware and it turned out perfect.

Some are born with great instincts and some develop them through hard work and learning. Either way, the person who has a keen instinct is hard to keep down.

Booom! This happened to me today as I was doing Seller Lead follow up in my data base. My letters changed half way thru, I bet I get some good leads with the new mail follow up that popped into my head.
The secret? Focus on what you have to offer that they can use.
Never, I am an expert at..... and I do these things, it is how to best serve your client, what will best suit their needs and what can they get the most useful information from. Yes - That Does Rock!

Lou,

You are correct as being in your zone is so very important and sometimes not easy to achieve. MJ seemed to always be in the zone especially if the game was on the line.

No unfair advantage if you ask me, anyone that can get in that zone put a lot of practice into their skill!

It always seems to be the case that our instincts are so much stronger than we ever realize that they could ever be!

Debbie is definitely right that it does take a lot of practice, but it also makes perfect what needs to be improved. I think that's a blessing in itself. Debbie Reynolds
