New Business Opportunities

“A man to carry on a successful business must

have imagination. He must see things a in a

vision, a dream of the whole thing.”

Charles M. Schwab 1862 - 1939, American Steel Magnate

As I see it . . . . . . .

New business opportunities

The flexible people of the world have the passion to acquirer the skills to reach greater levels of success and the determination to use them effectively.

Those who are willing to embrace learning in a changing business environment will attract new business opportunities . . . . and success in the future. While a non-learner will straggle to keep pace . . . . and will no longer be able to effectively compete in the marketplace.

The learners keep the flame of their dreams burning brightly in their thoughts . . . . and they make them come true through their actions.

A commitment to continuous learning to acquire the necessary skills to create a cutting edge business advantage . . . . is a must. To effectively compete in a competitive world continuous learning is no longer optional it become a must to stay completive . . . . and to achieve greater levels of success.

Success will be attracted by those who have educated themselves . . . . and effectively apply their new skills. At the same time others will not be able to keep up the pace without the education and the new skills.

The learners attract new business as a result of their commitment to become better at what they do. Make the commitment to attract new business opportunities and to be leader your field.

Lou, it was good when I opened my own company, it feels good, and it did open up new possibilities!

Happy Monday Lou, You know I have grown lots over the years, it started with a book I got back in 1978, You can do anything you want to do.  I have had a couple of hiccups but love what I do.

Lou, We are in deep trouble. We crossed the line where business failures outnumber business creation. Having a dream isn't enough. We need a better environment for business startups.

Lou, have you ever riden in passenger car with a fighter jet pilot?

I did, and that was in 1968.  I still remember the exhilaration, fear and silent prayer.  He was a USAF fighter pilot of a F4-D.  We were in Japan (Yokota AFB), and I was to be a guest for Sunday dinner. Driving a Mercedes sedan, he made a turn into his driveway that was like feeding a thread through a needle while running down the street.  Long story to make a point (sorry):

Al knew what he was doing, did not hesitate, had no fear, and showed no doubt!  Fast and fearless decisions led to success.  I would compare that to my driving the ole tractor through a 12 foot farm gate.  I tend to be deliberative in most personal decisions; but know when I must decide right now.  I have thought often of the knowledge, confidence, skill and instints I must have in my profession.  I must not underestinate the need for clear vision and good reflexes.  We are good at what we do because we weigh the consequences while caring for the client who is trusting our hands on the wheel.  Perhaps Real Estate is a better fit for us than flying supersonic aircraft.  Right?
