Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Doing What’s Right is a Choice

Doing What’s Right is a Choice

Doing What’s Right is a Choice

“There is always a choice to do what’s right.”

Lou Ludwig, Sales and Management Consultant,

Success Coach, Speaker, Trainer and Author

As I see it . . . . . . . .

Doing what’s right is a choice

You make choices everyday . . . . some small . . . . and some that have the capacity  to change a person’s life. The size and importance of your choices will vary. What remains paramount in your choices is doing what’s right . . . . for the right reason.

Doing what’s right is rooted in your values . . . . and in the depth of your character. Compromising either one will tarnish your reputation.

When you have a choice between doing something fast . . . . or to do what’s right . . . . do what’s right.

Doing what’s right is a choice . . . . that only you can make.

Good Sunday morning Lou Ludwig -

What a great post.  My wife is always telling the adult kids as well as the grand-kids, "choices and consequences."  It's true we all have choices to do the right thing...... or not.

Hi Lou -- yes, it really is about choices, isn't it?   We are often faced with multiple options but deep down inside we know what's best.  How we choose, defines us...like it or not.

Lou, Everyday I am faced with the choice of whether to get up or stay in bed. A hard choice for sure, but inevitably I opt to get up.

Excellent quote!  Doing what's right should be automatic.  It's a shame that some people don't know the difference and wouldn't know right if it kicked them in the pants!

Hello Lou,

Doing what's right is the only choice, in my opinion...it should be as simple as breathing, but sadly many do not understand that.

Hi Lou Ludwig ... Indeed it's true. And staying true to yourself is making the right choice for the right reasons... Great post... Thanks!

It sometimes takes an adult mindset to realize the responsibilities of life that we take for granted when we're kids. But we grow and we learn.

Sometimes, it can be a very calculated thing, other times, I feel very lucky. Sometimes though, that's just life.

Raising the kids it was about "make good choices" and moderation... easy does it. Think about the consequences. Plan your work, work your plan little extra thought upfront pays dividends.

Good morning, Lou,  We all are faced with choices every day! When that still small voice is prompting you to take a certain course of action that you know is the right path to take it's best to listen to it and do what you know in your heart is the right course of action. The decisions we make each day all add up to make up who we are as a person and form our character.  Feels better to walk with integrity than making decisions we know are wrong.

good words to live by. I am a Scoutmaster and I tell the scouts all the time that doing the right thing means you do it even when no one is watching. Pretty simple rule if you ask me.

I was at a Toastmasters talk last week, titled "Forgiveness".  One of the lines in the speech that I found powerful was "Forgiveness is a decision".  This means forgiveness is an option, a choice.

As you say, your values determine your choices.
