Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Pay Attention to What People Do

Pay Attention to What People Do

Pay Attention to What People Do

The older I get, the less I pay attention to

what people say or think or hope.

I notice what they do, how they

live and they work for.”

Robert Fulghum, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Pay attention to what people do

People can talk about what they are going to do . . . . talking without backing it up with focused effort has very little value.

People can plan for what they want to do . . . . until they act on their plan nothing happens.

People can dream about what they want to do . . . . when you want to live your dreams . . . . you have to create goals and action to make it happen.

People can have great hope for what they want to do . . . . hope is a vision of what can be . . . . turn your hope into a goal . . . . and you create a pathway to live it.

It’s not what people say . . . . it’s what they do to successful achieve what they want to achieve that counts.

Talk without taking the actions to achieve what they want is a waste of your time . . . .  energy . . . .  and ensures negative results.

When you want to achieve it . . . . you’re going to have to take the actions to get it done.

It’s not what people say, it’s what they do to create a successful outcome that counts.

Pay attention to what people do . . . . their actions is a reflection of the directions that they’re moving in.

Good morning, Lou -- this quote can be and has been interpreted in so many ways -- the message is always the same to me.   Actions speak louder than words.

Lou,  I think this quote works both ways. As you get older you also start to see these things in yourself. In the past year I've realized that I spend a lot of time "thinking" about things and researching them.  Now I have little reminders all around to spend less time thinking and more time doing.

Actions speak louder than words have always been a motto of mine since I was in 2nd grade! I hope you have a Happy SUnday!

It's amazing to me how people can "see" what is going on right in front of them yet "ignore" everything

Hello Lou,  As always interesting,  I can see this going both way but I see what you are saying.

Actions do speak louder than words, but... what comes out of the mouth can show us the condition of ones heart -- IF we pay attention to what is said. :)
