Break the Chains of Procrastination

Break the Chains of Procrastination

“Clear written goals have a wonderful effect on your

thinking. They motivate you and galvanize you

into action. They stimulate your creativity,

release your energy, and help you to

overcome procrastination as

much as any other factor.”

Brian Tracy. Self-Help Author, Motivational Speaker

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Break the chains of procrastination

You start to overcome and break the chains of procrastination the moment that you create clear and specific written goals.

Written goals create a road map for you to follow . . . . and a time line for you to achieve your goals. Your written goals also create personal accountability for the achievement of your objectives.

Your written goals create a purpose to pursue . . . . and with a action plan you create the road map to successfully carry out the actions steps to move you closer to achieving your goals and objectives.

Written goals will keep you on purpose with a far more productive use of your time. As you become focused on your goals you overcome procrastination . . . . and you increase the level of your productivity.

You break the chains of procrastination by changing your old unproductive habits . . . . and replace them with new and productive activities that help you to achieve your goals.

Procrastination is a state of mind . . . .  change your thinking and you will remove the habit of procrastination.  Your written goals become the new activity that will help you to overcome and break the chains of procrastination.

I try not to procrastinate, but invevitably, it will happen as there are always things that I don't completely look forward to doing, haha.

My husband has procrastination problems. I recently talked to him about them and guess what, he said he didn't realize it and now takes action quickly.

I don't have a problem with procrastination....I prefer to get things done asap, especially if they are things I don't want to do or fear doing.  I believe in getting them over with rather than stress out about them.
