Lou Ludwig Success Tips: People Will Try to Sway Your Thinking

People Will Try to Sway Your Thinking

Motivational Power Quote

People Will Try to Sway Your Thinking

“When everybody tells you that you are being idealistic or

impractical, consider the possibility that everybody could

be wrong about what is right for you .”

Gilbert Kaplan, American Businessman, Former Journalist

As I see it . . . . . . .

People will try to sway your thinking

It’s not that their opinion couldn’t be of valuable . . . . but unless they know your purpose and understand what your thinking  . . . . It becomes very difficult for them to render a valuable and useful opinion.

For those who know you well and understand what’s in your heart . . . . they will become a valuable resource on your success journey. When their opinion is coming from the right place, one of a mentor they can create value in your life by offering their opinion to you.

Most successful people in life find success in working out of the box . . . .

Many people won’t understand this or grasp theis concept . . . . and will try to insert themselves between you and your goals. They will also try to get you back into the box and have a million reasons why that’s where you belong.

People will try to sway your thinking  . . . . The people sway you forward and encourage in the direction of your goals . . . . become a valuable resource to you on your success journey.

Good advice here. Sometimes you have to go with your own feeling about what is right...and say no thanks to the naysayers.

I except other people's thoughts and applications. I don't always follow their lead but I do incorporate what works best to me and my business...

Cn't tell you that I have never been swayed, but normally if I feel strongly about something, I will follow through.

Make it a great week!

Hi Lou, You are right about that.  If you get out of the box, the first this people do is convince you that you don't belong there.  Good blog.

Thanks for sharing Lou. It always amazes me at how persistent people can be when trying to convince you that their way of thinking is the "right" way and that your heart or vision must be wrong just because it is unconventional. Out of the box thinking-- that's what our world needs more of.

Lou, being willing to follow your heart and live your dream is something few do and yet a lot like to point out and complain about.  A great reminder about the courage it takes to be true to ourselves and our dreams.

The important point is to set goals.  So many people don't get around to setting goals.   Then it is one step at a time and indeed, don't let others get in your way.
