Being an Expert is a Work in Progress

Motivational Power Quote

Being an Expert is a Work in Progress

“Never become so much of an expert that you stop gaining expertise.

View life as a continuous learning experience.”

Denis Waitley, Motivational Author and Speaker

As I see it . . . . . . .

Being an expert is a work in progress

An expert is someone who is recognized in their choose field for their expertise.

The secret of a practicing expert . . . . is you have to stay on top of the knowledge curve and changes in your field. Yesterday’s knowledge doesn’t make you an expert . . . .  it make you history.

An expert is ahead of the learning curve in their field. They are continuously accumulating new and reinvent information that keeps them in the forefront and the go to person in their field.

Is to remain in a leadership position in their field you have to stay in front of the learning curve . . . . and become a continuous learner.

Being an expert is a work in progress . . . . it’s in your continuous learning that gives you the knowledge and information that earns you the title of expert.

Very much like the idea of never taking one 's "expertise" to mean a destination, but rather a curved path that we insist on following around the next bend. Thanks!
