Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Friends are Like Fine Jewels

Friends are Like Fine Jewels

Motivational Power Quote

Friends are Like Fine Jewels

“True friends are like jewels, precious and rare.

False ones are like autumn leaves, found everywhere.”

Source unknown

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Friends are like fine jewels

Both friends and jewels are precious and rare to find and many times we don’t really recognize their true value at the first glance. But the longer we have a friend the more valuable they become.

Value and protect both as they are hard to come by. But a true friend may not be replaceable.

Good friends are rare to find and become one of our most precious of resource that we have on our success journey.

A good friend can be counted on in our time of need and will be there to support us without be asked.

Friends are like fine jewelry because both are precious. But there is also a big difference between friends and fine jewelry you can always replace fine jewelry at a cost. Friends can’t be replaced at any cost.

Friendship can be very deceptive.  I once thought I had a best friend.. she told me so much and they she totally screwed me over!  Unfortunately, she was not the jewel, she was merely fake.

Lou,

I think about this in relation to the current Social Media fad. Most of them are "virtual friends," not true friends.

I am not sure if I am lucky in this department....I came across only a few Gems and many autumn leaves despite my gem-like attitude towards them...

Lou:

Good friends should be valued for who they are and for what they mean to us.

Hey Lou-the value of a TRUE friend is immeasurable.  One can never get New Old friends either and that only increases their value.

very true.... many people say they have 'friends' but actually have a large number of 'acquaintances'.  for most, there are few friends, but they are jewels.

Lou, thanks for the post. I agree that a good friend is like a jewel and should be treated as such. Likewise, we should all consider... do our friends consider us to be a jewel?
