Lou Ludwig Success Tips: In My Day We Made a Difference

In My Day We Made a Difference

Motivational Power Quote

In My Day We Made a Difference

“I my day, we didn’t have self-esteem,

we had self-respect,

and no more of it then we had earned.”

Jane Hadam, author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

In my day we made a difference

A man builds their self –worth through their actions and efforts. There is no free lunch and are where no entitlements. If a man wanted something bad enough they worked hard and found a way to earn what they wanted.

It may have been hard work and sweat may be involved but they had self-respect.

They went out and did what had to be done and at times it was done with great personal peril but they still pursued what they wanted to achieve.

A man made great sacrifices but they pushed forward and were proud of what they had to do and they when out and get the job done.

You know who they are they were your parents, they may have been your grandparents, or they may have been you.

They are the veterans who have served our country with honor. With many of them paying the element price with their lives to make America a great country. They have earned their self-respect and our respect.

In my day people talked the talk and walked the walk. They did what they said they would do they had self-respect and build the nation to be a great country. Now it’s our time to get off the sidelines and to pick up the torch of our family members and our ancestors and make them proud of us and to make a difference.

In my day where the people that came before us and today is our day to make them proud of us and to thank them for what they’ve done for our country through our actions.

It’s time to take control and make this country great again for our children, our grandchildren and for the future generations. It’s also time to push the garbage to the curb and to press forward as a united nation.

Washington is not having a revenue issue they have a crack addition to spending. We are currently barrowing forty cent of every dollar we spend.

The country budget has to be balanced and the deficit and the reckless spending have to be stopped. In our day we have to call our representatives in Washington and tell them to balance the budget and have a REAL plan to reduce the deficit.

What many our representatives have forgotten is that they are an elected servant of the people. And they have been elected and sent to Washington to represent the people and the interest of the country.

It’s not about the party we belong to it’s about the financial future of the country and leaving our children and grandchildren a country that we will be proud of.

And one day we will say in my day we made a difference.

Self-respect = presonal responsibility in my book. Something tha tis greatly lacking in todays society.

I put scalding hot coffee between my legs and got burned. Not my own stupidity but the coffee maker got it too hot!

I am over weight, not my fault, there are too many temptation and I can't control myself, so you shouldn't make those fattening items!

etc etc

Here, Here.  And I just say, that even though a work in a service-related job, that the pathway back to prosperity in our Country is through manufacturing (I think we need to re-build a strong manufacturing base around cutting edge industries).

Lou,

Sadly, society has changed pretty significantly since Jane issued those profound words.
