Motivational Power Quote

 Your Best Practices

"For all my good intentions,

there are days when things go wrong

or I fall into old habits, when things

are not going well,

when I'm grumpy or mad I realized

that I'm not been paying,

attention to my soul

and I've not been following

my best routines."

Robert Fulghum, author

One of those days today.  Things are out of the 'logical' order.  Need to get back on track - thanks.

Lou,

Everybody has a bad day every once in a while...except my two dogs. Acknowledge it, and move on.

I like the phrase "paying attention to my soul"... indeed all of the things we do are usually based it on how we "feel" today and what we "feel" like doing. and paying attention that our soul (or guarding it) will surely protect us from unwanted ill feelings.

Lou,

I was recently using some of Roberts books to teach and remind my step-son some important things.  Great reminder and this will help him as well.  Thanks,

Yes today was one of those for me and they are rare, but  I am dragging myself into a more positive mood so that tomorrow will be better.  Thanks Lou.

As I sit here this morning contemplating how to get back on track, or more correctly how to stay on course, you post this quote. Your timely choice is truly uncanny. Keep up the good work! Enjoy the day!

Lou, yes, some days things don't go the way they should... that's when you need to take the time to stop, take a break and reassess if necessary... tomorrow is another day and a new start!

Thanks for the quote.  Those days happen no matter how well you plan.  Sometimes you just have to stop take a deep breath and get back on track.
