Successful negotiations have a start, middle and ending  

All successful negotiations start with a proper mindset and a plan to negotiate a successful outcome.   

We need to understand our objectives in the negotiations before we start and the objectives of the other person. We also have to have a plan B to fall back on if the negotiations reach an impasse.     

A excellent start to the negotiations moves the negotiations in the right direction from the beginning and sets the tone for successful negotiations.  

A negotiation is a process that when you combine an excellent start and middle we create a successful conclusion to the negotiations.
