Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Stretch Yourself for Success

Stretch Yourself for Success

Motivational Power Quote

Stretch Yourself for Success

"Your goal should be out of reach,

but not out of slight."

Anita DeFrantz, Olympic rower

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Stretch yourself for success

Goals should cause you reach and stretch yourself.

Reach beyond where you are today. Stretch yourself into the future. Stretch your thinking and go beyond where you have been in the past and into the future of possibilities with clear written goals.

Keep your goals in your thoughts and your slights on your target.

Stretch out of your comfort zone and reach for success and it will be there for you.

Sights not slights right? I agree with the sentiment. If you are comfortable, you are not growing, stretching, learning, moving forward.

Good advice. I guess smaller, intermediate goals are good but the main goal needs to be within your vision but not too easy!

Also, it is important to realize that if you put serious work into achieving a goal and still come up a bit short , thats okay...

I'm not sure I understand that one. I can't believe that anyone, especially an Olympic rower, really believes that goals should be out of reach. If your goals are always out of reach, what's the purpose?

Happy New Year!

Reach For The Stars --- it starts with an idea.  The plan is prepared.   And the journey begins.  Perhaps there is a detour.  Or two.  Or more.  Even if we don't reach the star(s)....look at how high/how far we have gone.  How much we have achieved.
