Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Do What Scares You

Do What Scares You

Motivational Power Quote

Do What Scares You

"Do one thing everyday

that scares you."

Eleanor Roosevelt, former First Lady

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Do what scares you.

When we're scare it creates fear, and that fear paralyzes us and keep will us awake at night worrying. Fear creates anxiety and affects our ability to think effectively and take action.

Commit to do one thing everyday that scares you. Do the things until you have successfully removed them and the fear.

Once removed you will feel that a weight has been removed from your shoulder and you will find yourself becoming more productive.

This is MUCH easier said than done.  What I have discovered in my own life is that some things that once scared me, no longer do.  And so the challenge is to continue to pursue things that will test you, and then move past them on to something else.

Lou: I've seen some folks that would continue to live in fear because they don't know how to move beyond fear. I'll bookmark your blog for future reference.

Hi Lou:

I like this quote, it's great advice by a great lady!

Don't know if I can handle snakes and alligators and....well, you get the picture!

Things that are good for me but scare me, yes... go for it.  But I'm with Toula on somethings that scare me... do not want to go there. An excellent post as always.

Hey Lou,

Great advice. I always face up to my fears and meet them head on.  Especially those difficult clients!  LOL
