Lou Ludwig Success Tips: Get It Going and Adjust

Get It Going and Adjust

Motivational Power Quote

Get It Going and Adjust

"You don't have to get it right,

you just have to get it going."

Mike Lilman

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Get it going and adjust.

Everything doesn't have to be right to get started.

If you're waiting for a time that you can get everything right before you start, you'll never get started; there's no perfect time.

Make the best decision you can to get started and move forward. Monitor your results and where things are not meeting your expectations; make the adjustment to get them on track.

Inaction creates far more risk then actions that need's adjustments.

Get it going and adjust where needed.

I think that  you are absolutely right.  Just get started and push through it.  That is a great attitude and philosophy for everything you do in life!

This reminds me of the analogy of a plane flying from Los Angeles to Honolulu. They're off course 90% of the time, but by making small adjustments along the way, they land on a tiny island paradise in the middle of the Pacific.

Agreed. Thanks for the reminder.

Lou, Just keep moving...eventually you'll get there, even if you take the long way around! Thanks for the post!

Lou, I once worked for a man who told me I would never get fired for taking action, we could always adjust afterwards. He told me he would fire me if I stood by and lost an opportunity. This man barely made it through high school but at his death his estate was worth $61 million in 1994. Great men take chances...

I have experienced and continue to believe that a large part of success in life can be attributed to simply "showing up" on a regular and consistent basis.

On another, note, Paul, that is an amazing example of the power of action.

Great idea. A variation on the theme to just do it without worrying about whether everything is in place. :)

The space between in action and inaction is more than important.  It makes a big difference.
