Lou Ludwig Success Tips: If You’re Coasting, You'll Run Out Of Steam

If You’re Coasting, You'll Run Out Of Steam

Motivational Power Quote

If You're Coasting, You'll Run Out of Steam

"If you're coasting;

you're either losing momentum

or else you're headed downhill."

Joan Welsh

As I see it. . . . . . . .

If you're coasting, you'll run out of steam.

When you're coasting not only are you losing momentum, but over time you will lose all your momentum and run out of steam.

The only direction that coasting will take you is down hill until you come to a stop.

Coasting will move you farther away from your goals and increase the distance become success and failure.

Stay in the no coasting zone, and put your peddle to the metal and accelerate your success.

I might add that sometimes, coasting can work positively to help you catch your breath. Rest is as important as activity.

Hi Janice

I look at catching up is a proactive activity.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

So true.  If you are not challenging yourself by setting goals, chances are very good that you are not moving forward.

As always, another wonderful post from Lou. Coasting is only possible when we're going downhill; which is usually not the way we want to go.

There's something to be said for having cruise control or being on automatic pilot.  Definitely not a good method of operation for life.
