Lou Ludwig Success Tips: When You Stumble Pick Yourself Up

When You Stumble Pick Yourself Up

Motivational Power Quote

When You Stumble Pick Yourself Up

"I had to pick myself up

and get on with it,

do it all over again,

only even better this time."

Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart

As I see it. . . . . . . .

When you stumble pick yourself up . . . .

This is great advice from Sam Walton who built the largest and one of the most effectively operated retail businesses in the world from his vision and one store.

Success is not an expressway it's journey and in any journey we can stumble and fall. The person that finds true success will pick themselves up, dust themselves off and to do it all over again this using their experience to do it better.

A stumble is an opportunity to start again with renewed passion.

Well if it worked for Sam Walton it can't be all that bad.  I've always heard that stumbling was good and that it makes your stronger.

Well Lou  It seems we need to pick ourselves up quite a lot lady ...that is Ok we will be so good  at it after all the practice. Aside from that Mr Walton had to be right....look at the end result.   I think he owns my little town at least there is usually where you can meet everyone in town LOL

Hi Lou, your quote got me thinking of a friend that I was recently reunited with.  I haven't seen this friend for over 15 years.  He happens to be a real estate broker in my area, and saw one of my business cards, took a picture of it and gave me a call.  We met one night at Starbucks last week to catch up.  He was in the real estate business for 8 years, which he had purchased 9 properties, where all the properties have been foreclosed on.  He confided in me regarding his engagement which was recently broken off.  T first, I felt badly for him, but I told myself, that I shouldn't be.  We all stubble and fall, but it's the lesson that we learn that helps us grow.  Thanks for sharing your quote.  My thoughts are with my friend, wishing him all the goodness in this world!

I think that people are kidding themselves if they think that the road to success is going to be a super-highway, it's not.  It is a dusty, bumpy, narrow, old, country road. :)

Sam Walton is an amazing example of a self made man. My philosophy is that everything is a learning experience. I learn from my mistakes.

Hi Mark

There is darkness on our success journey and light at the end of the tunnel.

We just have to continue to move in the direction of our goals.

I don't recall wine but I do remember reading a biography of Sam Walton - it seems he was The Millionaire(+++) Next Door " -- many great and so many noteworthy quotes.
