Know When to Speak

Know When to Speak

“The great thing is to know when to speak

and when to keep quiet.”

Seneca the Younger 4 BC – 65 AD, Roman Stoic

Philosopher, Statesman, Dramatist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Know when to speak

Can you talk you way out of business? The answer to that question is absolutely yes.

One on the keys to a successful real estate career is to understand when to speak . . . . and when to be quiet.

Speak with a purpose . . . . to share information . . . . to get a better understand of the customers and their motivation. Also to qualify the customer’s needs and wants are in the real estate relationship.

Don’t talk to just talk . . . . Just talking without a purpose will create gaps in the business relationship and will serve not productive purpose.

When you learn when to keep quiet . . . . you will master the art of effective communications . . . . and become a far more productive real estate professional.

Know when to speak  . . . . and when it’s time to keep quiet.
