As I see it . . . . . . .
It ain’t bragging
The doers go out and get the job done . . . . They don’t have to talk a good game . . . . they demonstrate their game on the field of play in their actions.
They will tell their customers what they will do for them based on their history . . . . . and then they will make it happen.
What you tell your customers that you will do for them . . . . sets the expectations for the business relationship. When you meet . . . . and exceed their expectations your business relationship is on a solid footing for future business opportunities . . . . and referrals.
When the business expectations are missed the business relationship is sitting on quicksand . . . . With both the opportunity for future business and referrals sinking into the quicksand and out of sight.
It ain’t bragging when you can back it up . . . . So the lesson is . . . . don’t say it . . . . if you can’t back it up.
