Do the Things You Think You Can’t Do
“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience
which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able
to say to yourself I have lived through this horror
I can take the next thing that comes along.’
You must do the things you think
you cannot do.”
Eleanor Roosevelt 1884 - 1962, Former First Lady
As I see it. . . . . . . .
Do the things you think you can’t do
You develop who you are . . . . through your life experiences. Some of the experiences bring back happy memories that you would like to go back and relive. While other experiences . . . . you would like to forget about.
You develop your strength . . . . courage . . . . .and confidence in life by taking a stand . . . . and doing the things you think you can’t do. When you make a commitment to dig in . . . . and face your fears . . . . your challenges . . . . you change your life . . . . and your results.
You’ll find your strength . . . . in working your way through life’s difficulties. Your difficulties test you on who you are as a person. When you dig in . . . . you take a stand . . . . and in that moment you stand your ground. You will do your best . . . . and create the courage to face any challenge in the future with confidence.
When we have the courage to face your fears . . . . You look fear in the eye with inner confidence . . . . and you will develop the strength to overcome your fears . . . . and you will see your obstacles melt away.
Taking a stand is the start of a new chapter in your life
Do the things that you think you can’t . . . . and you will find that your thinking was misdirected . . . . and the fear of doing it will melt away.
