When it’s right . . . . it’s right
There are times that you will be asked . . . . to compromise your integrity.
It can be in your business practices . . . . by not presenting a contract in a timely fashion because you’re asks to hold off for 24 hours. It can be a seller asking you to not mention a defect in a property . . . . Or you are asked by someone not to show the property because they may be getting an offer.
It can happen in negotiations . . . . It can be on the edge of the Code of Ethics violation. There are a number of “little things” that you can be asked to do “just this one time”.
Things are either right . . . . or wrong. When your being asked to bend the rules for them . . . . they are asking you to compromise your integrity. A little wrong can accelerate out of your control . . . . and turn into a big thing or a disaster.
What’s right is right . . . . and what’s wrong is wrong . . . . It’s not matter what the size of what the wrong is. Take the high road of doing what’s right . . . . and you will never have to look over your shoulder.
